Burn the tides before bridges are made
Strung out back, lacking slack
A separation considered germane
Hate us NOW
love us (later)
Come flaunt a solo
Amongst my eccentric masquerade
Magnetize your faith....
to that lonesome silhouette,
She twirls once more
To archaic rusted chimes
And profound cries that beseech
To cease the moment
Collecting falling stars like fireflies
How they shimmer but they all shall dim......
to the twinge of your countenance
It's entwined with mine
While Father time takes bribes
For whom who lack wealth
But rich in ignorant naivety
Do continue to suffer,
....dear martyrs.....
You'll learn your place.....

Late Nights
Sometimes we live in a series of unfortunate events, forcing us to settle into accepting that certain things will be as they may.
Perhaps one day a dream may become reality, but this is not the day, and alas I am not much of a dreamer, for I know such a day might never come, so I lie down at night content in knowing that I have at least some measure of happiness, and enough to continue living

To Be Restless
Heavy against the windows, the opaque night
isolates and infiltrates, sends
the dogs flying
to my side, and even in the warmth,
under the wash of the firelight, their ears hear coyotes
and the pressing sky plays with their minds.
With the lights off I can ease my mind,
see through the gaunt mask of night,
that the darkness is not thick but light and coyotes
navigate it like reflections and shadows alike. Their cries send
me reeling, fighting my urge to hide, knowing that warmth
and flames will not feel so much like flying.
I climb until I could be flying
and let the stars replace the thoughts in my mind.
The trees do not understand my warmt

Recycled, Reborn, Eternal

Times arrow returned to its quiver
Unlimited
Alive - in every moment that has been
or will ever be
Free
From the shackles of the linear mind
and the material wastelands of the Fallen
Pity the mortal and the blind
We dine on starlight
and dance to the rhythm of the fractal void
The heavy metal, rock and roll beat of the Magnetar and Star Quakes
The techo-jazz, thump thump thump of the pulsars
The waltz of the binaries
in their elegant embrace
We ride the big surf of the Broa

not entirely sure what to call this, it started as a few lines i came up with during my Spanish class and this is how it turned out
i really don't know what to say about this one, definitely not as straightforward as some of my poetry can be but nonetheless, i love it all the same and i always do aim for the abstract
